IH is one of the over 200 kinds of Kinesiology.
Kinesiology is based on the peculiarity of that our muscle responds to anything that gives our body a stress which can be a substance, emotion or energy, no matter how strong or weak the muscle is.
It is a combination of Chinese Meridian, Acupuncture and Energy Systems with Western anatomy, physiology and psychology.
Kinesiology is a holistic therapy that takes into account the physical, nutritional, emotional, mental, spiritual and energetic aspects of the client’s being.
In the early sixties, an American Chiropractor, George Goodheart discovered the muscle’s bio-feedback system and began to use it to assess muscle function, posture and general body imbalances. His continued research discovered corrective measures for the evaluated dysfunctions, and led him to formulate “Applied Kinesiology” that was available only to other Chiropractors and professionals.
In the early seventies, another Chiropractor John Thie focused on a client’s inward and systematized Kinesiology available to people as “Touch for Health”.
Since Touch for Health begun, Kinesiology has been taught millions of people all over the world, now there are more than 200 kinds of Kinesiology in over 60 countries.
